These being recycled golf balls sold on a discount, you have to temper your expectations. All 36 balls are NXT Extreme brand, a few had visible scratches or dents, but no worse than what you would have after playing a few holes with a brand new one. Only 2 of them I would considered questionable but still playable (on water hazard holes), but that's an excellent ratio. Most of the balls, as expected, had either corporate or club logos on them, some have personalized dot marks and putting lines on them. None of which should change the performance of the balls in any meaningful manner.
The NXT Extreme is a two piece design with a very durable cover and pretty hard to scratch. It's a lower spin and higher velocity ball.

Bottom line, if the slightest imperfection on you ball affects your games, you are buying them at the wrong places; for the rest of us hackers, these are perfect.

Looks like someone doesn't know how to hit approach shots. This ball is NOTHING like any old Precept. It's a 4 piece ball much newer technology. In my testing, approx 10 yards longer than any ball out there off the tee if you have the right swing speed (around 110mph driver). Spin around the green is GREAT and it has nice soft feel when putting. The original 3 piece was a little harder, but with the extra mantle layer, they have perfected it.

If you don't swing a driver at least 105, it's going to feel hard to you, and you won't really gain the distance because you aren't fully getting accurate compression. The 330-RX would be the ball for you; otherwise give them a try, you won't be disappointed.
